Welcome to Mercer and Hughes Vets
Mercer and Hughes are a small animal veterinary practice with surgeries in Stansted Mountfitchet (near Bishops Stortford), Dunmow, Saffron Walden, and Braintree (Bocking)
The modern hospital at our Saffron Walden practice provides 24 hour care to our in-patients, whilst day surgeries are carried out across all four of our branches. All of our practices are accredited under the RCVS.

Mercer and Hughes Vets have been around for over 40 years, growing from a small rural practice and treating generations of pets.
Principle vets Seamus and Becky, along with their team of amazing nurses, assistants, and receptionists, look forward to greeting you and your best friends soon.
Facilities at Mercer and Hughes Vets
We offer a range of in-house diagnostic treatments, facilities and equipment across our various surgeries. This allows us to provide you and your pet with access to a wide range of treatments without the need to travel afar.
Being able to run a multitude of tests on site means we are able to get quick results and support faster diagnosis.
