Registered Veterinary Nurse - Night Position (Part Time)

Our busy veterinary hospital in Saffron Walden is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Night RVN. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced, fun loving team of 18 nurses and 10 vets who are always helpful, friendly and supportive. There is so much variety, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills.

The hospital offers a great working space which has a brand new separate dog and cat ward and also consists of an in-house laboratory, modern theatre and x-ray with ample off road parking. We are close to all amenities and a short walk from town and transport links with beautiful countryside right on our doorstep.

We are proud to be providing high standard inpatient, emergency and critical care to our inpatients so are looking for a proactive individual to help maintain standards and provide brilliant care.

Hours needed to cover our emergency service on a rota basis 4 nights on, 10 nights off, though we would be open to suggestions at interview.

The jobholder must a registered veterinary nurse.

Veterinary Surgeon - Dunmow and Bocking (Saturdays Only 1:3)

We have an opportunity for a confident veterinary surgeon ideally with a minimum of 1 years of clinical experience to help at our Great Dunmow and Bocking branches during our Saturday clinic 8:30am-2pm.

We are a very well established independent practice, with an RCVS accredited hospital and branches in Essex. We are in easy reach of Cambridge, London and Stansted airport.

You will need to be confident with sole charge in this consultation-only role, and our Saffron Walden hospital is available for cases requiring emergency treatment over the weekend. We have a dedicated night team at our Saffron Walden hospital who remain on site to ensure high standards of overnight care. 

You will joining a team of 8 vets with a huge range of interests and expertise including surgery certificate holders. We have a large client base that expect thorough case work ups. We have a number of visiting specialists including a cardiologist, ultrasonographer and ophthalmologist that allows us to work up cases to a high standard. The position includes 4 weeks holiday that increases over 5 years to a maximum of 5 weeks, company pension,  CPD allowance, and great staff discounts. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Consult Assistant - Bocking Braintree

Seeking a part time reliable, self motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist the veterinary surgeons during consultations at our modern Bocking Braintree veterinary surgery.

Duties include: 
Handling dogs, cats, rabbits
All aspects of animal husbandry
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Customer care 
Experience preferred but training will be provided
Own transport is essential 

Looking for one candidate to work various hours mornings, afternoons/evenings and Saturdays at our Bocking surgery based in Braintree.

Other hours may be considered, with the opportunity to cover holidays and sickness. Flexibility to work at our other branches required.

For the right candidates there is the possibility of career progression.

Candidates need to be 18 or over and be able to show relevant animal handling experience.
