Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN – Dunmow

Full or Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN
We are looking for a motivated RVN to come and join our fantastic nursing team on a full or part time basis.

You will be primarily based at our Great Dunmow surgery but may be required to work across our other surgeries at Stansted and Saffron Walden.
This role does not include any weekend or night/OOH shifts.

The ideal candidate will have good all round experience and work well within a large team. This is a truly hands on position where you will get to utilise your nursing skills, whether it be running your own clinics or providing high levels of hospital care.

RCVS/VDS fees paid. CPD encourage including funding of certificates. Clinical coaching encouraged. Brilliant discounts on own pet veterinary care.

Full Time Veterinary Surgeon

We have a position available for a motivated enthusiastic vet to come and join our friendly 7 vet team.

You will be based between our hospital and branch surgeries at Stansted and Dunmow. We are very close to Cambridge, the M11 for quick access to London and Stansted Airport.

We cover our own OOH with a dedicated night nurse team. We have a brilliant support staff, with cases worked up to a high standard. Case continuity and specialisation is encouraged.

CPD is funded as well as certificates.

Accommodation is available if required.

Seeking two part time reliable, self motivated and enthusiastic individuals to assist the veterinary surgeons during consultations

Duties include:

Handling dogs, cats, rabbits
All aspects of animal husbandry

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Customer care
Experience preferred but training will be provided
Own transport is essential

Looking for two people to share Monday to Friday 8.45am-4pm (one candidate doing two days and one doing three days). Other hours may be considered, with the opportunity to cover holidays and sickness. Flexibility to work at our other branches required.

We are looking for a new receptionist to join our busy team here at Mercer and Hughes Veterinary Hospital in Saffron Walden. Duties are varied and full training will be given.

The hours we are looking to fill are

Wednesday 12 – 3.30
Thursday 1.30 – 7
Saturday (3 in 4) 8.15 – 4.30
Sunday (1 in 4) 10 – 1

The capacity to cover at our other branches in Stansted and Great Dunmow as and when required is essential.

Previous experience is not essential but a willingness to learn and flexibility are.
