Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Due to practice expansion we are looking for a motivated enthusiastic vet to come and join our friendly 7 vet team.
Your time will be split between our busy hospital and one of our branch surgeries. We are very close to Cambridge, the M11 for quick access to London and Stansted Airport.
We are an independent practice and we cover our own OOH with a dedicated night nurse team. Brilliant support staff, cases worked up to a high standard, case continuity, and specialisation encouraged.
CPD funded and encouraged, as well as certificates.
Accommodation is available if required.
Experienced vet preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. We are ideally looking for some to start April/May.
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00 to £45,000.00 /year depending on experience

Veterinary Receptionist – Part Time
We are recruiting across our branches and are looking for a professional and welcoming Veterinary Receptionist who is capable of providing high standards of customer service. This is a crucial and varied role requiring good communication and organisational skills.
The hours are varied but we do require flexibility to work across all of our branches in Saffron Walden, Stansted, Great Dunmow and our new surgery in Bocking.
Previous administrator and receptionist experience is required, with veterinary experience desirable.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include:
Answering the telephone and greeting clients.
Scheduling appointments efficiently.
Sales and taking payments.
Registering clients and maintaining computerised records.
Merchandising and up-keeping the presentation of public areas.
Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication skills – to empathise and care for our clients and their pets, and to accurately pass on information.
Computer literate – the ability to learn our computerised record system quickly.
Organisational skills – maintain high standards of customer care and accurate administration under pressure.
Attention to detail – to maintain records accurately and follow practice protocols.
Team player – to support our friendly team in our mission to provide high standards of animal healthcare and customer service.

Registered Veterinary Nurse RVN – Part Time
We are looking for a motivated RVN to come and join our fantastic nursing team. You will be joining our growing team located in a beautiful part of Essex within easy reach of London, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. You will be primarily based at our new Bocking surgery but may have to provide some cover at our other 2 branches in Stansted and Dunmow, or at our Saffron Walden veterinary hospital.
We provide our own in house emergency cover which is run by our dedicated night team. We encourage a healthy work life balance, and are looking for a part time nurse to cover either 2 or 3 days a week with no OOH or weekends.
The ideal candidate will have good all round experience and work well independently. This is a truly hands on position where you will get to utilise your nursing skills, whether it be running your own clinics or providing high levels of care.
CPD is funded and encouraged. Accommodation may be available if required. Pay will be dependent on experience.

Consult Assistant – Saffron Walden
Are you looking for a new role? We are looking for an individual to help our vets in the consulting room and assist our nurses at our Saffron Walden Veterinary Hospital. This role could suit an individual who may want to go into veterinary nursing, role progression could be offered to the right individual.
Duties to include:
Handling dogs, cats, rabbits, small furries and chickens
All aspects of animal husbandry
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
Aiding the veterinary nurses
You must be reliable, motivated, kind and hard working. You must hold a full driving license. Experience is preferred but training will be provided.
The position is a part time, Wednesdays 11am – 5pm and
1:4 Saturdays 9am – 4.30pm.
You will primarily be working at our Saffron Walden Veterinary Hospital but at times may need to provide cover at our branches, especially when our Bocking surgery opens in September.
