We are open at all surgeries with our COVID-secure protocols in place.
In order to comply with social distancing, and for the safety of our staff, we have made some significant changes to how we interact with you. We are still dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary care and ensuring animal welfare, but we need to protect our staff first and foremost.
We are seeing all cases requiring veterinary attention or advice with the vet, including puppy and kitten vaccinations, neutering, medication checks, and of course sick and injured pets.
We are offering routine vet nurse appointments such as flea and worming, weight checks and nail clips.
We ask all clients to wait in the car/car park, and call us when you have arrived for your appointment. We are currently allowing one client per appointment into the surgery, and will come and invite you in when it’s your turn. Please wear a mask unless exempt, and sanitise your hands as you enter.
We will ask you to stand at a certain point in the consult room whilst we examine your pet – we are not allowing clients to hold their animals during examinations at the moment as this brings you into too close contact with our staff. You may be asked to stand behind a screen.
After the consultation, you will be directed via the one way system to pay at reception and book any further appointments, and then via the designated exit.
We are still providing our emergency service. We are no longer able to offer home visits.
Card payments are preferred please.
Collecting Food and Medication
If you are collecting medication or food, please keep to the practice of paying beforehand where possible (not possible for all drug orders). Please pop into reception to collect. We may ask you to wait outside if reception is busy at the time of your visit.
